Step 1

Tell us what you need

  1. The fastest way: — describe the job in the chat, add photos if you like, and we’ll match you with pros near you.
  2. Or browse yourself: search pros by service and area.

Step 2

Pick a pro and a time

  1. Compare prices, reviews and photos of past work. Look for the “Background checked” badge.
  2. Choose a date and time on the pro’s page and click “Request to book”.
  3. Questions first? Message the pro before booking — the chat stays on FixitTask.

Step 3

Sign in with your email — no password

  1. Enter your email; we send you a sign-in link.
  2. Open the email and click the link — you’re in.

Step 4

Pay securely

  1. Enter your card at checkout. Your card is charged only when the pro accepts your request.
  2. If the pro declines or doesn’t answer in time, the hold on your card is released — you pay nothing.
  3. Payments are processed by Stripe; we never see your full card number.

Step 5

Get the job done

  1. Your pro comes at the booked time. Use the chat in your Inbox for any details.
  2. When it’s finished, tap “Job done” and leave a review — photos are welcome and help other customers.
  3. Something went wrong? Tap “Job not done”, tell us why and add photos. We hold the pro’s payment while we sort it out with you.
